3. Blisters
To make this condition even worse and the complications of it even more severe, along with the rash you may not have a rash that is in the form of rings when you have ringworm. There are times that ringworm actually appears as a crusty red rash. This rash may even look a little bit like an outbreak of acne. Since the rash does not appear as a ring in this situation, it can be difficult to know that it is in fact ringworm.
In other cases, ringworm can cause blisters to appear on the skin. It may also simply look like general lesions. If you have any type of rash that is blistering on the skin, itches, is red in color, or is crusty or flaky, it is important to go to your doctor right away to get a proper diagnosis and a proper treatment.
