3. Elbow Pain
One of the symptoms a person may experience before having a stroke is a pain in their elbow. This pain may be quite severe and typically will be on the opposite side of the body from where the loss of blood is occurring in the brain. If you have severe pain in your elbow and you have not recently hit it on something or injured it in some other way, it could be a sign of an impending stroke.
Pain is not something that is often associated with a stroke as typically a person will simply lose the function of an area of the body when they are experiencing any type of stroke. However, if you have unexplained pain in your elbow, it is worth a trip to the doctor to see what may be causing the issue.
