2. Pain Gets Worse with Movement
When a person has appendicitis, the pain that they experience will often get worse if they move around. The pain may be quite excruciating while taking a deep breath, when they have to cough, or if they sneeze. The pain will still be mostly in the abdominal area and will get worse if you move around.
Once again, if you are experiencing this type of pain your body is trying to tell you something. You should stop your normal activities and try to rest. If something like bending causes you to have pain, then you should avoid doing it.
Your appendix is located in the lower right abdominal area, so this is where you will likely be experiencing pain. However, inflammation can cause the area around it to become sore as well, so if your pain is elsewhere in the abdomen, do not rule out appendicitis.
