3. Pressure and Discomfort
On top of having abdominal pain and feeling the pain that gets worse when you move around, you may also feel an overall general discomfort throughout your body. This discomfort may be felt as pressure against some of the other organs builds. As the appendix becomes more and more inflamed, it can begin to take up more space. When this occurs, it can cause pressure on all of the other organs that surround it.
It is important to note that inflammation in another organ can cause effects that are similar. This includes pain and discomfort as well as a feeling of pressure. For example, if the kidneys are swollen then you may feel pressure around the back and on your sides.
If you are experiencing any type of pressure and discomfort as well as pain in the abdominal area, it is a good idea to see your doctor in order to rule out appendicitis and other conditions.
