4. Mineral Content
The mineral content of Chia seeds is something else that we definitely need to discuss. You probably already know from listening to your doctor and watching programs and commercials on television that you are not getting the vitamins and minerals that you need every day. Hardly anyone is.
Most people do not eat the right diet in order to give themselves the vitamins and minerals that our bodies are used to getting, having evolved to use all of them to maximize our health. Luckily, Chia seeds are a wonderful source of some of the minerals that our bodies need desperately.
For example, they contain nearly 20% of the daily recommended intake of calcium, 35% of phosphorus, 50% for manganese, and 35% of phosphorus. These minerals help to prevent and protect you against everything from hypertension to weight gain and help make your metabolism optimal. They are also part of DNA synthesis.
