Unfortunately, most people do not realize how bad it is. Most people are still fine with eating gluten because they have not heard about how harmful grains and gluten can be. The reason that experts recommend that everyone avoid gluten has to do with the proteins that are contained in wheat and other gluten foods.
They irritate your gut. They’re like splinters, digging in their into the lining of your gut and causing inflammation. Some people are more sensitive to gluten than others, but everyone should be eating gluten-free as much as possible. Luckily, Chia seeds contain no gluten whatsoever.
