Eating celery is also good for you because you actually burn more calories than you take in while you are eating it. Celery also provides hydration and is loaded with many nutrients. A stick of celery is a good source of fiber, has many antioxidants, calcium, and potassium.

In addition, a single stalk of celery can provide nearly 15 percent of your daily value of vitamin K. This makes it a really good source for the vitamin. It can easily be added to your diet each day as a snack or even as a side dish for lunch or dinner. Make sure that if you are just eating celery as a snack that you eat some fat with it. Dipping it in ranch or sour cream will ensure that your body can easily digest the vitamin K from this vegetable.
