3. Low Blood Pressure Isn’t Always Good
One of the essential things that you need to know about hypotension is that it becomes a problem. A lot of people mistakenly believe that only high blood pressure is an issue. That’s because high blood pressure is associated with heart attacks, with strokes, with cramp and more.
But on the other hand, hypotension can also be a problem and cause issues of its own. Pressure in your circulatory system is what your body uses in order to move blood and oxygen around your body. Without that pressure, it won’t get to where it needs to be.
This is why you will often feel dizzy when standing up if you are low on blood pressure: because the blood and oxygen are no longer able to make it up to your brain! And likewise, it is why you can end up feeling out of breath.
