5. Under Arm Pain
When it comes to heart attacks, the most obvious type of pain that a person will experience is within the chest. However, as mentioned pain may occur in other areas as well such as the stomach or under the arm. One common area where a person may experience pain is under the arm. This typically occurs under the left arm and radiates down. Many people often mistake this type of pain with a normal muscular pain and do not realize that it is a possible sign of a heart attack.
This type of pain that occurs under the arm is caused by the heart sending out signals to the nerves. The under arm pain will often come and go and will feel worse while exercising or with other types of physical exertion. If you have a radiating pain under your arm, make sure that you go to the doctor to have it checked out.
