6. Walnuts
Another terrific food to eat if you want to promote the cleansing of your liver are walnuts. Walnuts have extremely high levels of the amino acid arginine, which is integral in detoxifying liver ammonia. In addition, walnuts have a lot of omega-3 fatty acids which help with lots of different things in the body but especially with normal liver cleansing and they contain another substance called glutathione which also promotes this process. However, the reason that most people do not get the health benefits from walnuts that they should be getting is due to the need to chew walnuts until they are nearly liquefied before you swallow them. Only then are you able to get all of those nutrients into your body in sufficient quantities to help with cleansing of the liver. Most people do not chew them nearly enough.
