5. Runner’s Knee
Whether you run every day or go on an occasional jog, you may suffer from runner’s knee if you aren’t careful about stretching beforehand or not being careful during the routine. This condition doesn’t affect just runners and is often a general term that covers a variety of problems attacking the knees.
It is often known as patellofemoral pain syndrome and can be created by bending and moving the knee repeatedly or as a result of a concussive shock to the area. The problem may also arise if there isn’t proper alignment from the hip all the way down to the kneecap. The way you move can also cause runner’s knee.
You may suffer from overpronation which is caused by the foot rolling inward. Fallen arches or flat feet can also lead to the runner’s knee. If the thigh muscles are more developed than other leg muscles, they could put pressure on the knees.
