3. Antioxidants
You have probably heard of antioxidants before now as well. Antioxidants are sort of like soldiers that protect the body. When you get enough antioxidants, your body is protected from things like free radicals – substances that are harmful to your body and can cause several different symptoms including signs of aging. In fact, antioxidants will even help you to protect yourself from cancer.
Chia seeds are terrific because they contain lots and lots of antioxidants and when you add them to your diet such as in the case of 3 to 4 spoonfuls to get enough fiber, you are also giving yourself enough antioxidants to fight off harmful substances that cause cancer, signs of aging and various physical problems such as hypertension and heart disease.
There is no doubt that Chia seeds should be kept on the shelf, and the great thing is, they will last on the shelf for around two years.
