6. Travel Sickness
Travel sickness is another common cause of stomach pain: as is vertigo, motion sickness, or anything similar.
What happens here is that you are for whatever reason, experiencing a mixture of different signals. For instance, if you are traveling at high speed in a car, then you might be watching the world move by quickly, causing your body to think that you are running or being flung through the air. However, because your inner ear is sending different signals (suggesting that you are stationary), this confuses the body. As a result, this makes the body think that it may have been poisoned and thus it once again tries to drive out any signs of illness. This is why you can end up feeling nauseous and sick afterward.
Many other things can cause the same problems. Vertigo for instance is a chronic sense of disorientation and sickness, while other experiences such as riding on a rollercoaster, being intoxicating, or even using VR headsets can have a similar impact!
