4. Tuna Fish
Tuna fish is likewise another great source of omega 3 fatty acid. As well as that, it is also a good source of lean protein, meaning that it can help the body to build muscle tissue and to heal wounds. Because it is a lean source, that means you are getting the protein and the amino acids but not taking in large amounts of fat and therefore calories. This makes tuna an ideal choice for bodybuilders, athletes, and anyone else that wants to gain muscle while keeping their fat levels low!
There is one downside of tuna however, which is that it is also very high in mercury. This means that eating large quantities of tuna can eventually cause a build-up and lead to mercury poisoning. If you eat cans of tuna regularly, then it may be a good idea to reduce this intake!
