5. Soda Pop
If you are a fan of getting your daily caffeine intake from soda pop, you will be pleased to know that there are several carbonated beverages that contain very tiny amounts of potassium. There are two things to keep in mind when it comes to incorporating soda pop into your diet.
The first is that there are only certain types of soda that this applies to. Some of the ones that we can recommend include root beer, orange soda, grape soda, lemon-lime soda like 7-Up and Sprite and ginger ale.
As long as you don’t go crazy, this is perfectly acceptable. A couple of soda contains about 5 mg of potassium. You can also use this as a base for alcoholic cocktails as long as you check the alcohol first find out how much potassium it contains. Of course, drinking a whole 2-liter of soda is probably not the smartest idea.
