6. Anemia
Anemia is a condition that incorporates all of these different conditions. This condition simply means that you have a low number of red blood cells and that in turn is what causes the coldness, which causes the shortness of breath etc. Anemia is also famous for making people appear paler, which is due to less red blood flowing close to the surface of the skin.
One way to check for possible anemia is to pull your lower eyelid down and look at the flesh just below your eye. You should find that it appears bright red – if it looks very pale on the other hand, then this might point to a case of anemia.
In that case, get a check-up from your physician and they will likely want to look into further possible causes. These could include low iron, they could include low vitamin B12, they could include menstruation. However, if all these explanations are ruled out, then they might start to consider that kidney disease could be responsible.
