5. Itching
One of the other unpleasant symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection is that it can cause itching. You’ll find that the area around your crotch can become uncomfortable and this in turn may cause you to keep needing to rub and rearrange the area – which of course can be difficult to perform in a polite manner!
It might be that you notice the itching before the visible signs of the rash emerge. Likewise, it might appear to come from deeper inside, where you can’t actually see the rash.
Note that itching is also a symptom of many other things: ranging from dryness, to UTIs, to STIs, to uncomfortable underwear! Once more than, consider the risk factors and the other symptoms when attempting to identify the cause.
