20. Ginger
Ginger is one of the best-known options for settling the stomach and rightly so. It is highly effective for easing not only diarrhea but also stomach cramps, indigestion, and more.
This is partly due to the content of gingerols and schools. These both help to relax the intestinal tract, which in turn can help to ease the symptoms of IBS. It goes down very well when combined with a teaspoon of honey and you can even steep it in hot water in order to make ginger tea – high relaxing!
